Celebrant Training UK: our boutique training

There are many, many reasons why our celebrant training is unique amongst celebrant-training organisations. One reason is that we’re a boutique celebrant-training school. The word boutique derives from the Ancient Greek ἀποθήκη “storehouse”.

 

Based in rural Cumbria, we’re a husband and wife team with vast experience in our fields. Our ‘storehouse’ of knowledge, experience and best-practice celebrancy is something we generously share with each of our students, not only during their initial training but ongoingly. 

 

 

 

Your Celebrant-Training Tutors:

Veronika Robinson has been a celebrant since 1995, and has officiated internationally across all rites of passage. She’s a prolific author of both fiction and non fiction, including the bestselling book for celebrants Write That Eulogy: the art and craft of biographical storytelling (this book is included in our celebrant-training materials). Veronika has a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Cumbria, so she is uniquely placed amongst celebrant trainers for what she can offer her students. She founded Penrith Death Cafe; is a supplier for Gift of a Wedding (a charity supporting those who are terminally ill); and trains celebrants from around the world via workshops and on a one-to-one basis, including masterclasses in eulogy writing and the crafting of love stories. Veronika is a specialist in ritual.

Paul Robinson has spent his career working with his voice and other people’s voices, and is the voice and presentation coach for Celebrant Training UK. Not only does he have experience as a celebrant, Paul has worked extensively as an actor (TV, theatre, radio), broadcaster, singer, compere and ventriloquist. No one knows the voice, how it works, and how to make the most of your voice, better than Paul. Our students have the benefit of receiving excellent vocal and communication training.
